How to Use the RSS Feed Functionality in MyBikeInfo

Most of you are using the data recording function of MyBikeInfo and a good number of people use the app to track mileage and elevation totals, but we also have a built-in RSS feed function.  But, where is it?

Look at the bar at the bottom of the application.  From left to right you see: Bikes, Metrics, RSS News, Info, and Sponsors.

Click on the “RSS News” icon and up pops a screen with a listing of RSS.  We currently have the following RSS feeds coded into the application:  Velo News, Bike Radar, Sea Otter Classic, Pez Cycling News. BikeForums.net, CyclingForums.com, Jim langley’s blog, AnalyticCycling.com – one of my favorites, Inside Cycling TV, and a bunch more.

How to Add Your Own RSS Feeds

You can quickly create your RSS feed.  Just follow these simple directions: 1) click on the RSS Feeds icon, 2) when the screen opens, click on the “+” sign at the top right hand corner of the screen, 3) when the new screen opens, type in the name of the feed and the feed URL and 4) viola, your need feed is in the app.  It will show up at the bottom of the list.

What’s Your Favorite Cycling Site?

We occasionally rotate the fixed RSS feeds in MyBikeInfo.  What would you like to see there?  Just leave your recommendation in the comment field here in the blog.

Just another day in paradise.  Warm regards,  Robert and the MyBikeInfo Team.
